San Diego Pathology performs immunohistochemical stains for the entire spectrum of clinically relevant tissue markers. These include markers of tumor differentiation, lymphocytes, infectious agents, hormone receptors, and others. New antibodies are added to our inventory on a regular basis as new immunohistochemical stains are developed. Our specialized technologists are extensively trained and highly proficient with the most advanced immunohistochemical methods. The immunohistochemistry department is directed by Dr. Douglas Ellison for Heme markers and Dr. William Watts for non-Heme markers.
