Dr. Zhang completed two year-long subspecialty fellowships in GI/Liver pathology and Surgical Pathology (with an interest in Gynecologic Pathology) at University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center and earned her PhD in Molecular Pathology at the University of California, San Diego.
